How do you encourage people to use less water without throwing in attention-grabbing words like ‘hosepipe ban’ and ‘drought’? This was the task set by Bristol Water when they asked us to create a water efficiency campaign to run across their digital channels. Our response was to encourage economical water use through an unambiguous, highly informative suite of illustrated PDFs and animated GIFs detailing the number of litres the average customer uses doing simple day-to-day activities… you’ll never flush the toilet to brush your teeth in the same way again (we hope).
